Terms of Service

1) Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Yourlz website and services (“Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2) Accounts & eligibility

  • You must be legally capable of entering a contract and provide accurate information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login and for all activity on your account.
  • We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts at our discretion to protect the Service or other users.

3) The Service

  • Yourlz provides link shortening and related analytics. Features and limits depend on your plan.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
  • Beta or experimental features are provided “as is” and may be withdrawn.

4) Subscriptions, trials & billing

  • Certain plans require payment of fees on a recurring basis (“Subscription”). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • Charges are processed by our payment provider (e.g., PayPal). You authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
  • Free trials, if offered, convert to paid plans unless you cancel before the trial ends. At the end of a trial or upon non-payment, we may limit or suspend access and links per our policies.
  • Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Upgrades take effect immediately; prorations may apply according to our billing system. Downgrades may reduce features or limits.
  • You are responsible for taxes, duties, and government charges applicable to your purchases.

5) Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited uses include (without limitation):

  • Illegal activity; infringement of intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
  • Malware, phishing, or deceptive practices;
  • Child sexual abuse material or exploitation;
  • Hate, harassment, or incitement of violence;
  • Fraud, spam, or abusive traffic generation;
  • Circumvention of security or access controls;
  • Resale or sub-licensing without our written consent;
  • Exceeding plan limits or rate limits in a way that degrades the Service.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk.

6) Your content

  • You retain your rights to URLs and content you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, route, display, and process your content as necessary to operate the Service.
  • You are solely responsible for target destinations you shorten and their compliance with applicable laws.

7) Intellectual property

The Service, including software, design, and trademarks, is owned by or licensed to Yourlz and protected by law. Except for rights expressly granted, we reserve all rights.

8) Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. By using the Service, you consent to those practices.

9) Third-party services

We may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., payment providers). Your use of those services is subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10) Suspension & termination

  • You may cancel at any time from your account or by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, risk to the Service or users, non-payment, or as required by law.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may delete your content and links consistent with our policies and legal obligations.

11) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

12) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL YOURLZ, ITS AFFILIATES, OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO YOURLZ IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.

13) Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless Yourlz, its affiliates, and personnel from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14) Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., by posting on the Site or emailing the address on file). Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15) Export & sanctions

You may not use the Service if you are subject to sanctions or in violation of export control laws. You agree to comply with all applicable export and import regulations.

16) Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Warsaw, Poland, for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

17) Miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
  • Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect.
  • No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights; we may assign as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Notices: We may provide notices via email, in-app messages, or by posting to the Site.
